His entire left arm, starting from the wrist and ending at the back of his shoulder, is plated with cobalt plating to protect him. The rest of his body is covered in chainmail armor made of silver that gives him mild defense and high mobility. His black katana is always worn on his back, even in social settings, and is a sign of rank.
As katana are only given to ShadowKnights it is a high honor to wear one and all who see it will know what the person is.
His features are very sharp and piercing, his face often in some sort of negative state of emotion. The eyes are a brilliant yellow while his skin is a deep blue that denotes extreme purity of his bloodline. In his right ear is a black shard that he wears as an earring, which has special effects.
On his cheek are the symbols that would tell anyone of his own race that he is a High General. Which means he is one of the highest ranked soldier's of the army. Only coming behind the King's personal guard. And that was because he would rather serve their god than their king. Knowing the god was the more powerful and influential in his own creation.
Personality: Like all of his kind, Hrael is dedicated to the principle's set down by his god for them all to follow. For one he believes in the philosophy of, 'the strong survive'. And as such pities no one. He is cruel and ruthless, as capable of stabbing another in the back as he is to do it from the front. Aside from all else he is arrogant and haughty. Being born into one of the High Noble houses of his race he has lived a life of priviledge and decadence.
But while he does all of these things, he is very strict and conservative. Believing in only the old ways of doing things and upholds this with his every action. Aside from these things, he is very knowledgeable in the area's of necromantic magics and two handed combat. Even being a very skilled tactician, knowing both the landscape of all of Terrastra and the islands surrounding it. And to top it all off, Hrael is extremely ambitious. Spouting off regularly the need for the Dur Hini to begin taking more land for themselves so that their fair skinned cousins are not the only ones with so much political power.
The elf has knowledge of the many races of the land and can speak many languages from his years using his earring. Due to his very religious beliefs he is a devout follower of Bjorn and has even taken up the job of being the Dur Hini in charge of protecting the Shrine to their god. While the Mornaquenta also have their own guards set up to protect it, neither will allow only the other to be in charge of it. Feeling the god would begin to favor his other creations more than themselves.
This instills a very high level of rivalry between Hrael and the Mornaquenta, as he feels that the only other person who could compete for the favor of the god would be one of their High Generals. Knowing that none of the ShadowKnight's from his own race have the ability or skills to beat him out.
But one of his flaws is the fact that he is sterile. Meaning his good genetics will not be passed down unless some gifted mind finds a way to fix this problem.

Brief History- Born to the Dëûral Noble house of the Dur Hini, Hrael was a child who quickly showed high potential for being a soldier. As soon as he was old enough to hold a sword he was off and being taught the ways of his people.
It did not take long for him to be taken by the military and thrown into combat. And throughout his life he has fought in every great conflict the world has known. He served as a foot soldier during the Golden War, fighting on behalf of the dwarves. He also served during the Sacrifi occupation and dominion, learning much from them about how to enslave an entire people. Then when they were overthrown by the gods and the people set free he served as a Colonel in several smaller skirmishes that most would not even remember.
Then when the were-creature threat became too large he served his own people as the combined might of all the nations was thrown together. He saw the horrors of the disease and what it did to rational beings. For his services he was given a promotion to the first lieutenant under General Igryl. But due to an unfortunate accident General Igryl was killed and Hrael was given his position due to his outstanding record.
And when one of the High Generals was killed during a reconnaissance mission, illegal of course, Hrael was promoted due to his impeccable credentials. Since then he has gained the undying loyalty from the majority of the men within his own fraction of the Dur Hini forces. Aside from just having their loyalty he has also attracted many much more unsavory types into service. Even taking in a young man with no where else to go to serve as a private bodyguard and, some say, assassin.
But in this time of peace something stirs and something desires more. He can feel it in his gut and he has a feeling he is meant for more than just protecting the shrine. He has begun laying plans for his next move, whichever way that might be.
